COMPANY HISTORY & EXPERIENCE
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, Joe Petranka began working as an electrician in 1969 under the supervision of Griffin T. Key PE. He received his Master Electricians Certificate in 1977 and worked for over 20 years designing and supervising the installation of electrical systems rated up to 15KV. Joe Petranka was one of the first to pioneer the introduction of energy saving lighting systems and network copper and fiber installations in the River Region as early as the 1970’s and 1980’s.
Between the managing staff, Petranka Contracting has a rich history in the electrical industry consisting of 80 years of combined experience. Our managing team consists of our Estimating Supervisor, Oscar Garcia, and our Electrical Supervisor, Danny Rylant, who have worked with Joe for well over 20 years to provide customers with the highest level of excellence.
As one of the first in the industry to pioneer new technologies in the River Region, Petranka Contracting remains committed to bringing our customers the best in new technology and energy savings.
